The Veloxis is a 115mm rechargeable outdoor LED table lamp finished in matt brown painted metal with an acrylic diffuser. An integrated 1.5W 3000K LED sits beneath the cone-shaped shade, casting warm downward light through the diffuser. The lamp runs on a rechargeable battery that charges in 6 hours and operates cord-free, allowing it to be moved between tables, windowsills and outdoor seating without needing a nearby socket.

Designed for outdoor dining tables, garden side tables and patio seating, the Veloxis carries an IP54 rating that protects the internal electronics from dust ingress and water splashes from any direction. This makes it suitable for uncovered outdoor spaces in typical UK weather, though prolonged submersion or heavy downpours should be avoided. The touch-sensitive switch built into the base allows single-touch on/off and dimming through multiple brightness levels without fumbling for buttons in the dark.

The matt brown finish has a low-sheen powder-coat texture that resists fingerprints and pairs with timber furniture, rattan seating and terracotta planters. Battery runtime depends on brightness setting. At full brightness the lamp typically runs for 6-8 hours. At lower dimmed settings runtime extends to 12+ hours. The battery recharges fully in approximately 6 hours via the included USB charging cable.

Can it be left outside in rain?

The IP54 rating protects against water splashes and light rain from any direction, making the lamp suitable for uncovered patios and garden tables. However, it should not be submerged or left exposed to prolonged heavy downpours — bring it under cover during storms or store indoors when not in use for extended periods.

How does the dimming function work?

The touch-sensitive switch on the base cycles through brightness levels with each tap. A single tap turns the lamp on at the last-used brightness. Subsequent taps step through progressively dimmer levels until the lamp turns off, then the cycle repeats.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 1.5W LED is integrated into the lamp housing and not user-replaceable. Ideal Lux covers the lamp under a 5-year warranty, which includes LED failure within normal use parameters.
