Description

The Vela is a 62cm crystal chandelier with five E14 candle bulb holders arranged on scrolled polished chrome arms, each draped with concave-cut crystal droplets and pendalogues. The curved chrome arms extend outward from a central column, creating a symmetrical five-point frame that holds both the candle sconces and the cascading crystal strands. The crystals are facet-cut with a concave profile that refracts light into multiple directions when the bulbs are lit.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Vela suits rooms where a decorative centrepiece is needed above a table or in an open space. The adjustable drop ranges from 780mm minimum to 1780mm maximum, allowing the chandelier to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table surface or higher in a double-height entrance. The 62cm diameter fits tables of 1.2-1.8m length and rooms of 4m width or larger without overwhelming the space.

Each of the five arms terminates in a chrome sconce fitted with a clear crystal bobèche beneath the bulb holder, which catches reflections and adds layered detail when the chandelier is viewed from below. The polished chrome finish provides a mirror-bright surface that reflects both natural and artificial light throughout the day, while the concave-cut crystals diffuse and multiply the candle bulb glow once lit. The 5.7kg weight requires secure ceiling mounting into a joist or structural fixing, and the chandelier is supplied with a matching polished chrome ceiling rose and adjustable chain.
