Description

The Vault is an 85 x 60cm rectangle wall mirror with a grey lacquered resin frame built from individual bevelled tiles arranged in a stepped pattern around the perimeter. The frame sits 2cm proud of the wall, giving the mirror a layered, architectural profile rather than a flat finish.

Designed for hallways, living rooms above a console table, or bedrooms where a larger mirror helps bounce light around the room, the Vault works in portrait or landscape orientation depending on the wall space available. The 85cm height in portrait orientation suits positions above furniture pieces between 80-100cm wide, while landscape orientation works well over sideboards or in narrow hallway sections between doorways.

The grey lacquer finish on the resin frame gives a semi-gloss surface that reflects ambient light without the high shine of polished metal, sitting comfortably in both contemporary and transitional interiors. The bevelled tile detail on each frame section catches light at different angles, creating subtle variation across the frame's surface. The resin construction keeps the mirror lighter than a timber or metal equivalent, making it easier to mount on plasterboard walls.

Yes. The Vault can be hung either way depending on the wall space and the furniture below it. Portrait orientation suits narrower walls and positions above consoles, while landscape works well over wider sideboards or in hallway sections.

What mounting hardware is needed?

The mirror requires wall fixings appropriate to the wall type. For plasterboard, use mirror plates or D-rings with toggle fixings rated to support the mirror's weight. For solid walls, standard screws and rawl plugs are sufficient.

How is the frame cleaned?

Wipe the grey lacquered resin frame with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For fingerprints or marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. Avoid household sprays and glass cleaners on the frame itself — these can dull the lacquer finish over time.
