Description

The Urban PF/90 is a large round ceiling light that sits close to the ceiling, with a drum of White Translucent Ribbon pleated around an iron frame. Underneath, a broad round diffuser is framed by a silver ring, and the integrated LED behind it gives 4765 lumens from 58W at a warm 2700K, so there is no bulb to buy or change. A CRI of 90 keeps colours true, from wood and fabric to skin tones. It is 90cm across and 16cm deep, with an inner measurement of 76.2cm, and the ribbon shade itself is 14cm tall.

At 90cm across, this is a ceiling light for generous rooms: a large sitting room, a main bedroom, an open-plan space, or a hotel lounge, café or restaurant where several can run in a line along the ceiling. Because it sits close to the ceiling rather than hanging, it suits rooms where a pendant would crowd the space, and the pleated ribbon softens the light so the room feels calm rather than bright. It is dimmable with a compatible TRIAC dimmer, so you can bring it right down for evenings. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only.

The frame is iron in a Matt & Silver finish, and the White Translucent Ribbon is pleated in fine, even folds all the way round the drum, so it glows softly when the light is on. It runs on 230V mains and is wired in by an electrician; it is a Class I fitting, so it needs an earthed connection. If you want to dim it, choose a compatible dimmer and have it ready before your electrician arrives, so the light and its switch go in together.
