Description

The Urban PF/60 is a large round ceiling light, 60cm across and 16.5cm tall, with a drum shade of White Translucent Ribbon gathered in fine vertical pleats around an iron structure. The ribbon lets light glow softly through its sides, while a broad white diffuser fills the underside. It sits close to the ceiling, which suits rooms where a pendant would hang too low. We offer it in two versions, non-dimmable or LED, TRIAC dimmable, and the light source is integrated LED or four E27 bulbs, depending on the version; bulbs are not included.

With integrated LED, it gives 3888 lumens from 39W at a warm 2700K, with a CRI of 90, so wood, fabrics and skin tones look natural, and there is no bulb to buy or change. With E27 bulbs, it takes four of up to 9W each, so you choose the bulbs yourself. Its 60cm width makes it a good main light for a living room, dining room, bedroom or wide hallway, and its calm, even look sits well in hotel lounges, restaurants and reception areas too. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The LED, TRIAC dimmable version needs a compatible dimmer, and the non-dimmable version is simply switched on and off.

The structure is iron, and the White Translucent Ribbon shade is pleated evenly all the way round, with a slim ring framing the diffuser to give the underside a neat, finished edge. It is a Class II fitting, which means it is double insulated. It runs on 230V mains and is wired in, so it is for a qualified electrician to install. Settle on the version before you order, since the dimming comes with the version you choose.
