Description

The Urban PF/120 is a large round ceiling light, 120cm across and 21cm tall. A deep drum of translucent ribbon, 19cm tall, wraps an iron structure. A wide round diffuser with an inner measurement of 100.8cm fills the underside, so the light falls evenly across the space. It runs on an integrated LED of 78.6W, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It gives 9486lm or 9633lm depending on the version, at a warm 2700K, with a CRI of 90 that keeps colours and skin tones true. We offer the shade in White Translucent Ribbon or Cream Translucent Ribbon.

At this size it belongs in generous rooms with a good ceiling: an open-plan living and dining space, a large bedroom, a hotel lobby, a restaurant or a lounge where one ceiling light needs to do the work of several. The low 21cm profile keeps it close to the ceiling, so it suits rooms where a pendant would hang too low. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. Both dimming versions let you bring the light down for the evening. One dims on 0-10V or 1-10V control, and the other dims on DALI, which suits projects already run on a lighting control system. Either version needs a compatible dimmer or control of its type.

The ribbon is pleated in fine, even folds around the drum, and the iron structure gives the shade its firm round form, with a slim ring framing the diffuser. It is a Class I fitting that runs at 277V DC, and it is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. The light source is built in, so there are no lamps to source or match. Choose White Translucent Ribbon for a crisp, bright look or Cream Translucent Ribbon for a softer tone. Then pick the dimming version that matches the controls in your home or building.
