Description

The Twiggy Sphere is an outdoor spike light with a small round head on a slender stem: a lit acrylic globe raised on a thin stalk that pushes into the ground. The sphere is a satin acrylic diffuser lit from within by an integrated LED, so it glows softly and evenly all round rather than throwing a beam. Lit, it reads as a small warm moon floating just above the planting after dark; unlit, it is a neat coffee globe on a fine stem.

This is the 650mm height, tall enough to lift the glowing head above low planting, punctuate a border in a run, or gather in loose groups across a bed. The head is only 45mm across, so it stays delicate by day, and the warm 3000K output at 110 lumens marks the space gently without glare into the eye. The coffee finish sits close to soil, bark and timber tones.

It has a powder-coated aluminium frame with a satin acrylic diffuser and comes with a ground spike for planting straight into a border or lawn. The integrated LED is fitted and included, drawing 1.5W at 3000K with a rated life of 30,000 hours, and the fitting is rated IP65 for dust and water jets. It should be wired to a suitable outdoor supply by a qualified electrician.
