Description
The Twiggy Line is a slim outdoor garden spike light that stands on a ground spike and reads as a single upright stem of light. Its emission is diffuse rather than a directed beam, so lit it gives a soft warm glow along the whole body and marks a border, a planted bed or the edge of a path without throwing a hard pool at your feet. Unlit, it is a thin dark rod barely 18mm across that all but disappears among planting.
This is the black version at 990mm tall, the taller of the two Line heights, so it lifts its glow above low planting and lines up neatly in a run down a path or around a terrace. The powder-coated black finish keeps the stem quiet against soil, gravel and greenery in daylight, and the narrow 18mm profile means several can be spiked in a row without crowding the bed.
The body is powder-coated aluminium built for outdoor life and the light passes through a satin acrylic diffuser that spreads it evenly. Illumination comes from an integrated CREE LED module giving 110 lumens at 3000K warm white, CRI above 80, so there is no bulb to buy or replace. It draws just 1.5W, runs for around 30,000 hours and carries an IP65 rating for dust and water jets. It runs on low-voltage 3V DC and needs a remote outdoor power supply, which is not included, so allow for one when planning the run.

Frequently Asked
What kind of light does the Twiggy Line give?
A soft diffuse glow. The whole slim stem gives off warm 3000K light rather than a directed beam, so it marks a path edge or border gently instead of casting a bright pool on the ground.
Does it need bulbs?
No. An integrated CREE LED module giving 110 lumens at 3000K is built in and included, so there is nothing to fit or replace. It is rated for around 30,000 hours and renders colour above CRI 80.
Is it suitable for outdoor use, and how is it powered?
Yes. It is rated IP65 against dust and water jets and the aluminium body is powder coated for year-round outdoor life from minus 15 to plus 45 degrees. It runs on low-voltage 3V DC and needs a remote outdoor power supply, which is not included, wired by a qualified electrician.
How big is it and where does it suit?
It stands 990mm tall on a spike and is only 18mm across, the taller of the two Line heights. It suits a path edge, a border, a flower bed or a terrace where a slim upright marker of warm light is wanted, and it lines up well in a run.
