Description

The Tubix is a slim vertical tube pendant that hangs a single narrow rod from a small white cap. Its light comes from an integrated LED behind a central opal diffuser, wrapped in a clear pyrex outer that is fluted on the inside, so the source reads as a soft warm column with fine vertical lines catching the light rather than a bright bulb. Lit, it gives a gentle warm glow down the length of the tube; unlit, it sits as a fine ribbed glass rod on a white cable.

At only 70mm across it is a compact, upright fitting made to be read on its own or repeated in a row. This is the shortest of the three drops, adjustable from 645mm down to 2644mm, so a single piece can hang over a bedside or a narrow console, or several can be set at staggered heights over an island or a stairwell.

The cap and frame are powder-coated metal in white with a white PVC cable, and the diffuser pairs an opal core with an internally fluted pyrex outer. The integrated LED gives 850 lumens at 3000K warm white and is rated to 30,000 hours, so there is no bulb to buy and it lights the moment it is wired. Rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms.

What kind of light does the Tubix give?

A soft warm column of light. The opal core spreads the integrated LED evenly while the fluted pyrex outer picks up fine vertical highlights, giving 850 lumens at 3000K warm white as a gentle glow rather than a wide wash.

Do I need to buy a bulb?

No. The LED is integrated and included, rated to 30,000 hours, so there is no separate lamp to fit. It arrives ready to wire and light.

Is it dimmable?

The integrated LED is not listed as dimmable, so we would treat it as a fixed-output fitting unless a compatible driver is confirmed. We can advise before you order.

How big is it and can I hang several together?

The tube is only 70mm across, with a drop from 645mm to 2644mm. This is the shortest of the three sizes, so it suits a bedside or console on its own, or two or three at staggered heights over an island or stairwell.
