The Tubino is a slim LED pendant light in a matt black finish: a narrow cylinder just 4cm across and 23cm tall, with a slender upper section rising from a slightly wider lower body. Its light source is an integrated 6.5W LED giving 339 lumens, so there is no bulb to buy or change. With a CRI of 90, it shows colours, faces and food much as they look in daylight. We sell it in two colour temperatures, 2700K or 3000K: choose 2700K for a warmer, more golden glow, or 3000K for a slightly crisper warm white.

Its small size and modest output make it a natural choice for the dining room and the living room, where light is wanted close to where people sit rather than spread across the whole ceiling. A single Tubino gives a quiet accent over a side table or beside an armchair, and because the body is so narrow, several hung together over a dining table look neat and light rather than heavy. The drop reaches up to 290cm, so there is plenty of length to set it at the height that suits your table and your ceiling. It is rated IP20, which makes it a fitting for dry indoor rooms only.

The matt black finish is low in sheen, which keeps the slim outline crisp against a pale ceiling or wall. At the top, a canopy 5.5cm across and 13cm tall sits neatly at the ceiling. The Tubino is not dimmable, so plan to run it from a plain on and off switch rather than a dimmer. It runs on 230V mains power and is wired in by an electrician, so have a qualified electrician install it. Once it is up there is nothing else to buy: the LED is built in and the pendant needs no extra parts to work.
