Our Trilla vase is built like a stack of simple shapes: a wide, flared cone rests on a round ball, which in turn sits on a flared foot, while a shallow collar above a thin ring forms the mouth. It is made from 100% ceramic and painted by hand in bold, multicoloured bands, each shape taking its own glossy shade, so it reads as a small sculpture before a single stem is added. At 16cm across and 26.5cm tall, it is a medium-sized vase, tall enough to give a handful of flowers real presence without towering over a table.
