The TRIBIS II C/M is a recessed square LED spotlight that takes a GU10 lamp rated up to 10W, running on 220-240V mains. It sits flush in the ceiling and the head adjusts within the frame, so the beam can be angled where it is wanted rather than fixed straight down. The light is a warm 3000K white at Ra 80 colour rendering, the kind of tone that suits living spaces and hallways. Buyers in the US will know this recessed format as a square can light, here in a compact 82mm trim that drops into the ceiling.

This fitting works best in indoor rooms where directional accent or task light is needed, such as picking out a kitchen worktop, a shelf or a piece of artwork. Is this spotlight suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use?

No. It is rated IP20, which means it is for dry indoor use only. Keep it out of bathrooms, showers, porches and any outdoor or damp location, and choose an IP65-rated fitting for those areas instead.

Is the GU10 lamp included, and is it dimmable?

The fitting takes a standard GU10 lamp rated up to 10W. Whether a lamp is supplied depends on the listing, so check the box contents. Dimmability is set by the GU10 lamp you fit, so choose a dimmable GU10 and a compatible dimmer if you want to dim it.

Can the head be angled?

Yes. The head adjusts within the recessed frame, so you can tilt the beam towards a worktop, shelf or feature rather than only pointing it straight down. This makes it useful for accent and task lighting as well as general light.

How do I clean it?

Switch off and let the lamp cool, then wipe the matt chrome trim with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh solvents so the finish is not marked, and do not let moisture reach the lamp or terminals.
