The Tria is a six light LED wall light: six pebble-shaped panels gathered into one loose cluster, each lit from behind so its light falls back onto the wall and spills in a soft glow around its edges. It comes in White Satin Lacquer or Natural Oak, and it is made from wood finished oak and aluminium. The cluster is 53cm tall and 89cm across, and it stands 11.5cm out from the wall. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It gives 5300 lumens at 2700K, a warm white, with a CRI of 90, so wood, skin and fabric look true to colour.

At 76W, this is a wall light with real output, not just a glow in a corner. We like it on a long dining-room wall above a sideboard or table, where the warm glow suits a slow evening meal, and in a living room as a wide, soft light behind a sofa. In a bedroom it makes a calm wall over the bed. It is dimmable on a compatible dimmer (TRIAC), so you can take it right down for the evening and bring it up when you need more light. It is rated IP20, which means dry rooms only.

The design is by Ruben Saldaña. Each panel has a soft, rounded outline, and the six come in slightly different sizes, so the cluster reads as one shape rather than a row of separate lights. The fitting runs on 230V mains and is Class I, which means it is earthed. It is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. Before you book them, measure your wall: at 89cm across and 53cm tall, the Tria wants clear space around it so the glow can spread evenly. Our photographs show the natural oak version.
