Description

The Tria 05 is an outdoor wall light with a flat, pebble-shaped face in Teak Wood, the grain running across the whole front. Its integrated LED lights the wall behind it, so the fitting is framed by a soft halo glow rather than shining straight at you. It gives 690 lumens from 11.5W at a warm 2700K, with a CRI of 90, so render, brick and planting keep their true colours after dark. Being an integrated LED, it needs no bulb. It is 36cm tall and 33cm wide, and stands 9cm off the wall on a 12cm back plate.

Rated IP65, it is made for outdoor use, on a sheltered wall or an open one: beside a front door, along a garden wall, on a terrace or by a porch. Because the light washes the surface around it, it marks a doorway or a path softly, and a pair either side of an entrance looks balanced. It is TRIAC dimmable with a compatible dimmer, so you can keep it low for a gentle glow across the garden in the evening, or bring it up when you want to see the step and find your keys.

The Tria design is by Ruben Saldaña, and the 05 takes its rounded, pebble-like outline outdoors in a Teak Wood finish. The warm wood face sits comfortably against pale render, stone or dark cladding, and the glow around its edge softens the wall once daylight fades. It runs on 230V mains and is a Class I fitting, wired in to the mains, so it is for a qualified electrician to install. Once it is up, there is no bulb to change, and on a compatible dimmer you set the level to suit the evening.
