Description

The Tria 05 is an outdoor wall light shaped like a smooth, flat river pebble, in a Graphite Brown Metal finish. Its light comes from an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. The light washes back onto the wall around its solid face, leaving a soft halo framing the dark shape instead of a bright point at eye level. It gives 690lm from 11.5W at a warm 2700K, with a CRI of 90, so stone, brick and planting keep their true colour after dark. It measures 36cm tall and 33cm wide, and stands 9cm out from the wall on a 12cm back plate.

Rated IP65, it is made for outdoor use: on the walls of a garden, patio, terrace or porch, beside a front door or across a courtyard. Its soft halo gently marks a path, a step or the edge of a seating area, and the warm 2700K light suits long evenings outside. Each light is a single pebble shape, so several can be grouped across a wall at different heights for a loose, natural arrangement, or one can sit on its own by an entrance. It is TRIAC dimmable, so on a compatible dimmer you can bring it right down for a quiet supper on the terrace.

The design is by Ruben Saldaña: a flat, rounded face finished in Graphite Brown Metal, a deep, even brown that sits quietly against stone, brick or render by day and almost disappears into its own glow at night. It runs on 230V mains power and is a Class I fitting, so it needs an earthed supply. It is wired in to the mains, and that is a job for a qualified electrician, who can fit a compatible dimmer at the same time if you would like one.
