Description

The Tria 02 is a flat, pebble-shaped LED wall light, 27cm tall and 24.5cm wide, standing 8cm out from the wall on a back plate of 11.5cm. We sell it in two finishes, White Satin Lacquer or Natural Oak, and it is made from wood finished oak and aluminium. The light comes from an integrated LED of 16W giving 1187 lumens, so there is no bulb to buy or change. Rather than shining straight into the room, it sends its light back onto the wall behind the rounded front, drawing a soft halo around the edge. At 2700K it gives a warm white, and with a CRI of 90 colours and skin tones look natural.

This is a wall light for the dry rooms of the home, where its low, indirect glow does its best work. In a living room, a pair either side of a sofa or fireplace gives soft evening light without glare. In a bedroom it suits the wall beside the bed, and in a dining room it lights the wall around the table so faces stay warm and the room feels calm. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

The design is by Ruben Saldaña, who gave the Tria a soft, rounded outline that sits as comfortably in a period room as in a modern one. Choose White Satin Lacquer for a clean, pale shape that blends into a painted wall, or Natural Oak for the warmth of wood. The Tria 02 is dimmable (TRIAC) on a compatible dimmer, so you can take it from bright to a gentle background glow. It runs on 230V and is a Class II fitting. It is wired in to the mains, so a qualified electrician should install it, and if you want to dim it, ask them to fit a compatible dimmer at the same time.
