The Trenvette is a white flush ceiling light that sits close to the ceiling, 31.5cm across and just 10cm tall. A round dish of satin glass carries a soft grey pattern of scrolls and leaves, held to a white steel base by small clips around the rim. Behind the glass sits a single E27 lamp holder that takes a bulb of up to 25W. The bulb is not included, so you can choose the warmth of light that suits the room. It is rated IP20, which means it is made for dry rooms indoors, so it belongs in bedrooms, hallways and living spaces rather than a bathroom or anywhere outdoors.

Because it hugs the ceiling, this fitting suits any room where headroom is tight, such as a landing, a cottage bedroom or a hallway with a low ceiling. The satin glass diffuses the light and hides the bulb, giving the room a gentle, even glow instead of glare.
