Trace 3 Light Crystal Pendant Light - Chrome

The Trace is a 450mm diameter pendant light built around a smoked reflective drum shade that encloses a polished chrome frame and suspended Asfour crystal droplets. Three E14 bulb fittings sit inside the chrome framework, with crystal chains and teardrop-shaped pendants hanging below the bulbs. When unlit, the smoked drum shade reflects like a tinted mirror; when lit, the shade becomes translucent grey and the inner crystal structure emerges through the haze.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls, the Trace works in rooms with ceiling heights between 2.6m and 3.5m. The drop adjusts from 620mm minimum to 1540mm maximum on installation, allowing the pendant to hang 700-900mm above a table surface or closer to eye level in taller spaces. The 450mm width suits tables 1.4-2m long or island worktops of similar length without dominating smaller rooms.

The polished chrome canopy and chain provide a high-gloss metallic accent, while the smoked drum shade softens the overall reflectivity and filters the light from the inner bulbs into a diffused glow. The Asfour crystal components are precision-cut faceted glass rather than acrylic or resin, giving sharper light refraction when the pendant is illuminated. Each E14 fitting accepts candle-style bulbs up to 40W (sold separately), and dimmer compatibility depends on the specific bulb chosen.

Does it come with bulbs?

No. The Trace requires three E14 small Edison screw bulbs up to 40W each, sold separately. Candle-style LED bulbs between 4-6W at 2700K-3000K are the typical choice for this fitting.

Is it dimmable?

The pendant itself is dimmer-compatible, but dimming depends on the bulbs used. Pair it with dimmable LED or halogen E14 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch for adjustable brightness.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drop ranges from 620mm to 1540mm. For a dining table or island, allow 700-900mm clearance above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above. Lower ceilings can accommodate the pendant if the chain is shortened during installation.

How is the smoked shade cleaned?

The reflective smoked drum shade shows fingerprints and dust more readily than matte finishes. Wipe gently with a microfibre cloth dampened with glass cleaner or a 50/50 water and white vinegar solution. Avoid abrasive materials that could scratch the reflective surface.
