Description

The Trabuco is a round LED ring pendant light, 55cm across and 150cm tall overall. It hangs from a black ceiling canopy on three fine suspension wires. The body is aluminium and steel, with the ring in a warm brown and the canopy in black, and a white plastic diffuser runs around the underside of the ring. The light source is integrated LED: two lights at 25W each, giving 2,600lm per light, so there is never a bulb to buy or change. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in a dry room.

We like a ring this size over a round dining table, where it echoes the shape of the table. It works just as well in a living room or an open-plan space with the ceiling height to let it hang. The brown and black pairing is earthy rather than stark, so it sits comfortably beside oak, linen, stone and soft greys. The colour temperature runs from 2200K to 6500K, so the same light can give a warm, candle-like glow for a slow supper or a crisp, cool daylight tone for homework and reading at the same table.
