Tplus Pendant Light - Black

The Tplus is a slim black pendant light: a narrow plastic cylinder hung on a fine black cord from a compact rectangular ceiling plate. The shade is just 5.5cm across and the whole light measures 110cm in overall height, so it drops a neat column of light without taking up visual space. Inside sits an integrated LED giving 980lm, enough for a focused pool over a table or a worktop. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in a dry room, away from water.

Because the colour temperature adjusts anywhere from 2700K to 6500K, the same pendant can give a warm, relaxed glow in the evening and a crisp, cooler white when you need to see detail. It is dimmable too, so you can bring the level down whenever the room calls for something softer. Hung singly it marks out a reading corner or the end of a sofa; hung in a row, these slim cylinders line a kitchen island or a dining table neatly. The black finish sits comfortably against pale walls and warm textiles alike.

The body is black plastic, and the whole light weighs 0.16KG, so it puts very little load on the ceiling. It runs from a 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains supply at an operating voltage of 19V, with no separate driver to house. There is no switch on the light itself; it is switched at the wall. The LED is built in rather than a bulb you change, and a specialist can replace it if that is ever needed. It carries energy class D. Can the Tplus pendant go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs indoors in dry rooms such as a living room, dining room, hallway or kitchen, never near water or outdoors.

How bright is the Tplus pendant?
