Description

The Toy S is a compact LED wall light, a neat rectangular box 15.7cm wide and 9cm tall, with clean, defined edges and a slim opening along its lower edge. It comes in White, Black, Brushed Bronze, Brushed Brass and Brushed Titanium, so it can sit quietly against a pale wall or stand out against a darker one. The light source is an integrated LED drawing 10W, so there is no bulb to buy or replace, and you choose a warm 2700K or a slightly crisper 3000K light when you order.

Its size makes it a good fit for a bedroom, where a pair either side of the bed gives soft light without taking up room on the bedside tables. In a living room or dining room, a few along one wall give a gentle glow for evenings when the ceiling light feels too bright, and it suits a narrow stretch of wall between a door and a window. It is dimmable with a compatible phase-cut dimmer, so you can bring the light right down for a quiet supper or a late film. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only.

Each Toy S is a mains fitting for a qualified electrician to wire in, and it runs at 230V. The LED has a colour rendering index of 90, which means colours, timber and skin tones look true under it rather than flat. That is worth having beside a dining table or a bedroom mirror.
