Description

The Torvessa spice rack is a flat wire panel that fixes to a wall, 52cm tall and 45cm wide, standing 6.5cm off the surface. Four shelves run across it, each with its own wire floor and a rail along the front edge to hold jars back. The panel behind them is filled with closely spaced horizontal wires. There is a screw hole at each of the four corners. The wires are not perfectly straight, and the crossings are bound with wrapped ties rather than welded flat.

Four shelves at 45cm wide take a working row of jars each, which puts a whole set of herbs and spices in front of you instead of at the back of a cupboard. It projects only 6.5cm, so it fits on the wall between a worktop and a wall unit, on the end of a run of units, or inside a pantry door. Hung on a plain wall, it holds the jars label out.

It is iron throughout under an aged brass finish, a warm mid brown rather than a bright yellow, and the whole rack weighs 1.51kg. The Torvessa range also holds a two tier dish rack, a low dish rack, a toast rack, a cutlery holder and a three tiered storage stand in the same finish.
