The Tortoreto is a slim pendant light: a plain white aluminium tube that hangs on a fine cable from a small round white ceiling rose. It stands 60cm tall overall and measures 6cm across, so it reads as a clean vertical line rather than a bulky shade. Light comes from the open lower end of the tube, which takes a single GU10 bulb, not included, so you can choose the brightness and colour of light that suits you. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in dry rooms only.

Because the tube is so narrow, it suits places where a wide shade would crowd the space: over a kitchen island, beside a bed in place of a table lamp, above a hallway console or at the end of a breakfast bar.
