Description

The Toneria is a close-mounted LED ceiling light in polished chrome. Its two tiered rings of clear faceted glass crystals sit on slim chrome rods beneath a round mirrored base. It measures 55cm in diameter and 22cm high, so it fills a ceiling with presence without hanging low into the room. The light source is an integrated 30.5W LED giving 4,900lm at 4000K, a crisp neutral white with enough output to serve as the main light. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs indoors in a dry room.

We would put it in a living room, a dining room, a bedroom or a generous hallway, anywhere a pendant on a long drop would eat into the head height. The wide footprint suits a room of good size, where the two rings read clearly from across the space. Once lit, the glass scatters small points of sparkle across the surrounding ceiling, and by day the mirrored base catches the crystals and doubles them. Choose it if you want a ceiling light that gives a room real brightness and some glamour from a single fitting.

The body is stainless steel in a chrome finish, and stainless steel resists rust, while the shade is clear brilliant glass. The LED is integrated and not replaceable. The light is not dimmable, so it is switched at the wall like any standard ceiling light. Its energy class is D. It weighs 9.838KG packed, so a second pair of hands is worth having when it arrives. As a mains light wired into the ceiling, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a PDF download.
