Toffee Rechargeable Outdoor Lamp 16 x 50cm - Black

The Toffee is a small cordless lamp built for outside as much as in, a flat round head set on a slim stem that rises from a weighted round foot. This is the taller version, standing 500mm high with a 160mm head, so it reads more like a slim floor lamp on a table, a bar or a low wall than a squat table light. The integrated LED faces up into the underside of the disc, throwing its light indirectly as a soft downward pool rather than a source shining into the eye. Lit, it is a quiet ring of glow on a fine stem; off, it sits as a neat black column.

It runs on a built-in rechargeable battery rather than a fixed cable, so there is no lead to trail across a table or terrace, and it is switched on and off on the body. Being cordless, it can be lifted from a patio table and carried indoors to a shelf or windowsill, then put back on charge from a 220-240V supply when it runs low. The integrated LED gives 1200 lumens of beam light, around 890 lumens delivered, at 3000K warm white with a colour rendering index above 90, so the tones around it stay true.

The body is powder-coated aluminium in black with an acrylic diffuser, and the light source is a built-in LED module rated for about 50,000 hours, so no bulb is ever bought or replaced. Rated IP65, it is sealed against dust and water jets and made to live outside all year, on a patio, a balcony or a covered terrace, and to come back indoors whenever it suits. The charger is not included; we can supply a compatible one on request.

What kind of light does the Toffee give?

A soft, indirect downward pool. The integrated LED faces up into the underside of the round head, giving 1200 lumens of beam light at 3000K warm white with a colour rendering index above 90, so it lights the surface below gently rather than glaring.

Is it cordless and rechargeable?

Yes. The Toffee runs on a built-in rechargeable battery with no fixed cable, so it can be carried from table to table indoors or out and switched on and off on the body. It charges from a 220-240V supply. The charger is not included, and we can supply a compatible one on request.

Can it be used outside?

Yes. It is rated IP65, sealed against dust and water jets, and the powder-coated aluminium body is made to stand outside all year. It suits a patio table, a balcony or a covered terrace, and works equally well brought indoors to a kitchen, bedside or windowsill.
