The Tocina is an LED floor lamp built from steel, with a slim black pole rising from a round black base and a wide brushed brass disc set behind a smaller black disc near the top. It stands 150cm tall and measures 38cm in length, on a base 27cm across that keeps its footprint neat. The light comes from integrated LEDs rated at 11W, giving 1,300 lumens of warm white light at 3000K, plenty for a lounge in the evening. With an IP20 rating it belongs indoors, in a dry room.

Its natural home is a living room, beside a sofa or an armchair, where the brass disc frames the black centre like a small eclipse once the LEDs are lit. The slim pole takes up very little floor space, so it also suits a reading corner in a bedroom or a hallway that wants a warm glow. The black and brushed brass pairing sits comfortably with dark furniture, warm timber floors and pale walls.
