The To-Be pendant light is a slim tube in a brushed bronze finish, 45cm long and 5.5cm across, hung on a fine cable and lighting downwards from its lower end. Its light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 10W and gives 806lm through a 35° beam, a focused pool of light rather than a broad wash, and with a CRI of 90, colours look true beneath it. We offer it in two colour temperatures, 2700K or 3000K: the 2700K version gives a warmer white, the 3000K version a slightly crisper one.

This is a pendant for the dining room and the living room. Hung low over a dining table, its narrow beam lights the table rather than the whole room, and when it is switched off the brushed bronze tube reads as a clean vertical line. In a living room it sits well over a side table or a favourite reading chair, anywhere a focused light is wanted. It hangs on a drop of up to 200cm, which leaves plenty of room to set the height that suits your table. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only.

The tube hangs from a canopy 5.5cm across and 13cm tall, slim enough to keep the whole fitting looking neat on the ceiling. It runs on 230V mains and is wired in by an electrician, so it is for a qualified electrician to install. It is not dimmable, so it belongs on a plain on and off switch rather than a dimmer. The brushed bronze finish has a soft, lightly grained sheen with warm brown and gold tones. The one choice to make when you order is the colour temperature: 2700K for a warm glow over the evening meal, or 3000K if you prefer a cleaner white.
