Description
The Tirnine is a compact LED flood light with a black aluminium body and a clear glass front, held on a U-shaped bracket so you can angle the head where the light is needed. It is pleasingly small, 8.5cm long and 6.5cm high with a projection of 2.5cm, so it sits neatly above a door without crowding the wall. The integrated LEDs draw 10W to give 850 lumens at 4000K, a neutral white that sits between warm and cool. It is rated IP65, which means it is sealed against dust and protected from jets of water, so it lives outdoors on a house wall in any weather.
We would put it above a front or back door, beside a garage door, along a side passage or on the wall over a patio, anywhere you want clear light across a step or path. Because it is so small, it suits homes where a bigger floodlight would look heavy, and the black finish keeps it discreet against most walls. It is not dimmable and has no switch of its own; it is switched at the wall, so you control it from an ordinary wall switch, which suits anyone who wants dependable light at the door without fuss.
Aluminium does not rust, which matters on an outside wall, and the light is featherweight at 0.155KG packed. The clear glass front covers the LEDs, and glass wipes clean easily, so a quick wipe now and then keeps it looking smart. It runs on a standard 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains supply and carries energy class F. As a wired-in mains light, it should be fitted by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions are available as a download, so your electrician can read them beforehand.
