Description

The Tiger Dream cushion is a 50x50cm square made from 100% polyester, and it is genuinely two cushions in one. The front carries a striding tiger in orange and deep red, set among coral-toned branches, pale blue fronds and scattered stars on a cream ground. Flip it over and the reverse is calmer: a repeat of budding pink branches on an olive green field. Both faces are framed by a hand-painted olive and white striped border, so whichever side faces out reads as finished rather than plain.

This is built as an outdoor cushion, so its natural home is a garden bench, a rattan sofa or a set of chairs on a patio, though there is nothing to stop it living indoors on a reading chair or the end of a bed. Because it is reversible, one cushion covers two moods: the bold tiger face when you want the print to lead, the quieter botanical reverse when you want green and pink to sit back. It works well with plain linens, terracotta pots and the sort of relaxed, planted setting the print already nods to.
