Description

The Tiffany is a 500mm crystal pendant light combining an antique brass frame, white pleated fabric shade and cascading crystal droplets beneath. The frame holds six angled tubes that radiate from the central stem inside the shade, with crystal strands suspended from three of these tubes. The shade itself is a drum of fine-pleated white fabric that diffuses light while allowing the brass tubes and crystal arrangement inside to remain partially visible when lit.

Designed for dining rooms, hallways and bedroom installations where ceiling height allows a drop of 700-1560mm, the Tiffany pairs ambient overhead light with decorative crystal detail. The three E14 bulb holders sit inside the shade (bulbs sold separately), casting light through both the fabric and the crystal droplets below. The adjustable chain drop allows the pendant to be set 700mm above a dining table or lowered to 1560mm in double-height entrance halls, with the brass canopy concealing the cable run at ceiling level.

The antique brass finish on the frame brings a warm, slightly aged metallic tone that contrasts with the crisp white of the pleated shade. The crystals beneath catch and refract light from the bulbs above, adding movement and sparkle below the main body of the pendant. At 3.9kg the fitting requires a ceiling rose and joist capable of supporting the combined weight of frame, shade, crystals and three bulbs.

The fitting is dimmable when paired with suitable dimmable lamps, so the output can be lowered for evening dining or bedroom use. A 1 year warranty applies, and the 2700K to 3000K bulb range gives a warm to neutral white tone depending on choice.

What bulbs does the Tiffany take?

The pendant takes three E14 small Edison screw bulbs (sold separately). We suggest pairing this with warm-white LED candle bulbs at 2700K-3000K and 4-6W each. Total wattage depends on the bulbs chosen.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable E14 bulbs and pair the pendant with a compatible dimmer switch. Standard non-dimmable LED bulbs will not dim and may flicker or hum if connected to a dimmer circuit.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop of 700mm plus the 500mm diameter shade means a ceiling height of at least 2.4m is recommended. For dining table installation the pendant typically sits 700-800mm above the table surface, which requires a ceiling height of 2.5m or above.

Can the shade be removed for cleaning?

The pleated fabric shade can be carefully removed from the frame for dusting or light cleaning. Use a soft brush or dry microfibre cloth on the fabric. The crystals can be wiped with a barely-damp cloth and dried immediately to remove dust and fingerprints.
