Description

The Tiffany is a 460mm pendant light combining an antique brass frame with a white pleated fabric shade and cascading crystal droplets. Three E27 bulb holders sit inside the shade, with crystal strands hanging below each holder to create a layered effect when lit. The antique brass canopy and central column give the fitting a warm metallic base, while the white fabric shade diffuses light outward and the crystals add decorative reflection below.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Tiffany suits traditional and transitional interiors where decorative lighting is used as a centrepiece. The adjustable drop ranges from 800mm to 1500mm, allowing the pendant to be set 700-900mm above a dining table or lower in a two-storey entrance hall. The 460mm diameter works over tables seating four to six people, or as a focal point in a 4m x 4m room.

The white shade is made from vertically pleated fabric stretched over a wire frame, giving the shade structure without adding visual weight. The antique brass finish has a soft patina rather than a bright polish, keeping the metalwork subdued under daylight while still catching warm tones from the bulbs when lit. The crystal strands are cut glass rather than acrylic, so they produce sharper reflections and prismatic colour under direct light. At 11.2kg the fitting requires secure ceiling fixings and is not suitable for plasterboard-only ceilings without additional support.

Pleated fabric over a wire frame holds the shade shape while three bulbs share the load evenly across the fitting.

What bulbs does the Tiffany take?

The pendant takes three E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. We suggest pairing this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient dining room lighting. The specification allows if using traditional filament or halogen types.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you use dimmable bulbs and install a compatible dimmer switch. LED bulbs require an LED-compatible dimmer, while traditional filament bulbs work with standard rotary or trailing-edge dimmers.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 800mm minimum drop plus the 460mm shade height means the pendant needs at least 2.6m ceiling height to sit comfortably above a dining table without dominating the sightline. For entrance halls or double-height spaces, the 1500mm maximum drop allows the pendant to be lowered into the visual field.

Can it be installed on a plasterboard ceiling?

At 11.2kg the Tiffany requires secure fixings into a ceiling joist or into a plasterboard ceiling with additional metal spreader plates or toggle fixings rated for the weight. A plasterboard-only fixing without reinforcement will not hold this pendant safely.
