Tiffany 3 Light Crystal Bar Pendant Light - Polished Chrome Cream Shades

The Tiffany is a 1m bar pendant light carrying three cream fabric shades on a polished chrome frame, each shade suspended on a cable above cascading strands of cut crystal. The three E27 bulbs sit inside the cream shades, diffusing light through the fabric, while the crystal drops below each shade act as secondary reflectors, scattering light downwards and outwards across the pendant's 1m linear span.

Designed for dining tables 1.6-2.4m long, kitchen islands and formal living rooms, the Tiffany works in spaces with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.2m. The adjustable drop ranges from 630mm to 1500mm, allowing the pendant to be set 650-750mm above a dining surface or higher for ambient use. The 1m bar distributes light evenly along the table length without requiring multiple pendants, and the polished chrome finish reflects both ceiling and ambient light back into the room.

Each cream shade is a tapered drum approximately 150mm in diameter, made from a pleated fabric that softens the light from the E27 bulb while keeping the glare low when viewed from seated or standing positions. The crystal drops beneath each shade are individual faceted teardrops on thin chrome stems, creating movement and sparkle when the pendant is disturbed by air currents or when light catches the cut edges. The combined weight of fabric, chrome and crystal gives the pendant a 5kg presence, requiring a ceiling rose rated for the load and secure fixing into joist or plasterboard anchor points.

What bulbs does the Tiffany take?

The pendant takes three E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for dining. The dimmable rating requires LED bulbs marked as dimmable and a compatible LED dimmer switch.

What table length does it suit?

The 1m bar spans dining tables between 1.6m and 2.4m long without leaving dark patches at the ends. For tables longer than 2.4m, consider two Tiffany pendants spaced 1.2-1.5m apart, or a longer bar pendant from the Mantra range.

How is the drop adjusted?

The cables for each shade are adjustable during installation, allowing the pendant to be set between 630mm and 1500mm below the ceiling rose. For a dining table, the typical installation height is 650-750mm above the table surface, which works in rooms with 2.4m or higher ceilings.

Can the cream shades be cleaned?

The pleated fabric shades attract dust over time. Use a dry, soft brush attachment on a vacuum cleaner set to low power, or a microfibre cloth to lift dust gently. Do not use water or fabric cleaners, as they can stain the cream fabric or cause shrinkage in the pleats.
