Description

This Thomas Kent London cog wall clock brings a working piece of mechanical detail to a large 30in face. The stone-toned dial carries a soft, aged wash across its surface, printed with gold Roman numerals that run the full circle. Framed by a slim gold-tone metal surround, it has the look of a station or workshop clock scaled up for a feature wall.

The talking point sits at the centre, where a cluster of exposed cogs turns as the clock keeps time. Slender gold hands sweep above the gear train, and the Thomas Kent London name is printed just below twelve. At 740mm across, it fills space above a mantel, a sideboard or a stairwell with a piece that rewards a closer look.

Construction combines a metal frame with an MDF body, a glass front and a printed paper dial, so it stays true to its finish over time. The neutral stone and gold palette settles easily into living rooms, hallways and open-plan kitchens without pulling attention from the rest of the room.

Frequently Asked

Do the cogs actually move?

Yes. The exposed central gears turn as the clock runs, giving a working mechanical display behind the hands.

How big is this clock?

It measures 740mm in diameter (30in) with a 60mm depth, making it a large feature piece for open wall space.

What movement does it use?

It is a quartz movement, so it keeps accurate time and runs quietly on a battery.

How do I clean the face?

Wipe the glass front gently with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid liquid cleaners near the cog opening to protect the mechanism.

Where does it suit best?

It works well above a mantel, sideboard or in a hallway or open-plan kitchen where the large dial has room to stand out.
