Description

The Tesvelle is a square LED panel light for the ceiling: a white steel body framing a white plastic shade that glows across its whole face. It is 39.3cm long, 39.3cm wide and 6.1cm deep, so it sits as a neat, flat square close to the ceiling rather than hanging down into the room. The LEDs are integrated, drawing 19W and giving 2,300lm, so there is never a bulb to buy or change. It is rated IP20, and that settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms.

We think it suits rooms whose job changes through the day: a home office, a study, a living room, a bedroom or a hallway. The colour temperature adjusts across a range from a warm 2700K to a cool 6500K, so the same panel gives crisp white light for reading or desk work and a softer, warmer tone in the evening. It is dimmable too, and it is colour-changing, which makes it a good choice for a family room or a teenager's bedroom where a splash of colour is welcome. It is controlled by app, and it also works with a remote control, which is sold separately.

The white steel body and white plastic shade sit quietly against a pale ceiling. Its energy class is E, and the packed weight is 1.352KG. The panel has no switch of its own: it is switched at the wall and runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains. As a wired-in mains light it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. One practical note: because the app can only reach the light while it has power, leave the wall switch on whenever you want to dim it or change its colour from your phone.

Frequently Asked

Can the Tesvelle panel go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs indoors in dry rooms, so we would keep it away from bathrooms and anywhere near water.

How bright is the Tesvelle LED panel?

It gives 2,300lm from integrated LEDs drawing 19W, and it is dimmable, so you can bring it down for a softer evening light.

What colour temperatures can it give?

The colour temperature is adjustable from a warm 2700K to a cool 6500K, and the panel is colour-changing as well, so it can glow in colour too.

Does it come with a remote control?

No. It is controlled by app, and it also works with a remote control, but the remote is sold separately.

How large is the panel?

It is 39.3cm long and 39.3cm wide, a neat square, and 6.1cm deep, with a white steel body and a white plastic shade.

Is there a switch on the light?

There is no switch on the panel itself; it is switched at the wall, and the wall switch needs to stay on for the app to work.
