Description

The Testara-E is a round LED flush ceiling light that sits close to the ceiling, just 3cm deep and 21.1cm across. A black plastic body forms a slim rim around a white plastic diffuser, so the fitting reads as a neat dark ring with an even panel of light at its centre. The LEDs are integrated and give 1,600lm of cool white light at 4000K, a clear, crisp white that keeps a room bright and colours easy to judge. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs indoors in dry rooms, and it carries energy class C.

At this size it suits the smaller rooms of a home: a hallway, a landing, a walk-in wardrobe, a box room or a study, anywhere a pendant would feel crowded or the ceiling is low. Because it is only 3cm deep, it keeps headroom free and sits almost flat, which matters on a landing or under a sloping ceiling. We would pick its 4000K cool white light wherever you want to see clearly, such as a home office or a kitchen, and the black rim gives a graphic outline that works well against a white ceiling in a modern or monochrome scheme.

The body and the diffuser are both plastic, the body in black and the diffuser in white, and the whole light weighs 0.42KG.
