Description

The Tessa Dome Table Lamp is a slim, modern table lamp in matt white, with a small dome shade hanging from the end of a bent stem. The stem rises from a round 16cm base, turns in a smooth curve at the top and runs out a short way to hold the shade, so the light falls straight down onto the table beneath it. The lamp stands 47cm tall, and its aluminium dome shade is 13cm tall and 11.5cm across. It takes one GU10 lamp, which is not included, so you can choose the colour of light and brightness that suit the room.

Its size makes it a natural choice for a bedside table, a desk, a console in the hall or the end of a sideboard, where a pool of downward light is more useful than a wide glow. The dome keeps the light pointing down onto a book, a keyboard or a tray of keys, which is why we like it for reading in bed and for late work at a desk. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. With its clean lines and plain matt white finish, it sits comfortably in a modern or Scandinavian scheme, and it works well in pairs either side of a bed.

The structure is iron and the shade is aluminium, both finished in matt white, and the lamp comes on a 2m textile cable that runs out from the base.
