Description
The Termini is a long, slim linear pendant light: a black steel bar 106.5cm long and 9.5cm wide, hung on fine wires beneath a low rectangular ceiling canopy. Along its underside runs a neat row of small recessed lenses for the integrated LED, which draws 33W and gives 4,200 lumens at 3000K, a warm white. It is rated IP20, and that settles where it goes: indoors, in a dry room.
We think it is at its best over a dining table, a kitchen island or a long desk, where the light comes from a row of points along its length rather than from a single bulb. At 4,200 lumens it is a generous light for reading, cooking or working, and because it is dimmable the level can come down for a quieter evening once the plates are cleared. The black finish sits comfortably with pale walls, dark joinery and natural wood alike, and the clean, squared profile suits a modern kitchen, a dining room or a home office. With an overall height of 150cm, it hangs well clear of the ceiling and puts the light where you need it.
The body is steel in a black finish, and the LED is integrated and not replaceable, so there is never a bulb to buy or change. There is no switch on the light itself: it is switched at the wall and runs on mains at 220-240V. As a wired-in mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. Its energy class is E and its packed weight is 2.944KG. Because the LED stays with the bar for good, it pays to settle the exact position over the table before fitting day.
