The Tear TR is a 1 metre surface-mounted track that runs straight off the 220-240V AC mains, giving you a powered rail along which lighting heads can be positioned and angled wherever the light is wanted. As track lighting it forms the supply spine rather than the light source itself, so the brightness and beam come from the heads you fit to it. American buyers will recognise this as a single-circuit mains track rail, the same principle behind the linear track systems used to line up directional spots across a room.

The Tear TR suits living rooms, kitchens, hallways and home studios where fixed downlights would be too rigid, letting you spotlight artwork, a worktop or a reading chair and then shift the emphasis later as the layout changes.
