Description

The TAVO FRAME DL 18W is a surface mounting frame for the matching 18W square downlight. The article code decodes to an 18W fitting size with a 170mm outer length, so the surround measures 170 × 170 × 38 mm overall. Moulded in white plastic, it sits the panel proud of the ceiling where there is no recess depth or void to drop the fitting into, converting a recessed downlight into a surface-mounted one without cutting a hole.

The frame holds the panel securely against the ceiling and gives a clean white edge around the fitting. It carries no electrical parts and emits no light of its own; the light comes entirely from the downlight it houses.
