Description

This porcelain mug and coaster set brings Stitch and Angel to the table at Christmas. The mug has a pale aqua blue body scattered with pink and blue stars, a pink inside and a chunky blue handle in a flower shape. On the front, Stitch sits on a pink present in a red Santa hat, while Angel sits beside him tangled in fairy lights, with a tiny ragdoll at her feet. A disco ball and a garland of coloured baubles hang behind them. The matching round coaster has a wavy blue rim around a pink ring, framing Stitch inside a pink bauble with two little Christmas trees on his head. The mug stands 8cm tall, 14cm wide and 9cm deep.

It is a mug for the festive weeks: hot chocolate on Christmas morning, tea at the kitchen table while the cards are written, or a warm drink by the sofa on a December film night. The coaster gives the mug its own place to sit on a table, desk or bedside, and between drinks the pair make a cheerful bit of Christmas colour in their own right. As a Christmas gift it comes as a matched set with nothing else to find, and it suits a stocking, a Secret Santa swap or a small parcel under the tree.

The mug is glazed porcelain with a straight round body and a rounded flower handle that gives a good loop for the fingers. The coaster is flat, sized to sit under the mug, with its wavy blue edge. For care, we suggest washing the mug by hand in warm soapy water and wiping the coaster with a damp cloth, then drying both. Set the pair out on the counter from the first of December, or wrap them with a packet of hot chocolate for a gift that is ready to use straight away.
