The Stella is an 80cm diameter circular wall mirror surrounded by a frame of rectangular faceted mirror panels radiating outward from the central glass. Each panel is angled to catch and reflect light from different positions in the room, creating the effect of a multi-surfaced glass sunburst when viewed straight-on or from the sides.

Designed for above-mantel installation, hallway feature walls, or behind console tables in living rooms and bedrooms, the Stella works as both a functional mirror and a reflective wall sculpture. The 80cm diameter suits walls 2.4-3m wide, where the mirror acts as a focal point without overwhelming the available wall space. The 4cm projection from the wall comes from the layered frame construction and allows the angled panels to sit proud of the central mirror surface.

The frame is backed with wood to support the radiating mirror panels, and the entire piece weighs 11kg, requiring secure wall fixings into solid masonry or studs rather than plasterboard-only mounting. The faceted panels create varied reflections depending on room lighting — under directional lighting each panel reflects a different section of the room, while under diffused daylight the frame appears as a unified halo of light around the central mirror.

At 11kg the Stella requires secure fixings into solid masonry or timber studs. Two heavy-duty D-rings or a French cleat system are typically used, with wall plugs rated for at least 15kg each to provide adequate safety margin. Plasterboard-only fixings are not suitable.

How much wall space does it need?

The 80cm diameter works best on walls 2.4-3m wide, where the mirror can act as a focal point without crowding adjacent furniture or architectural features. Allow at least 30-40cm clearance on each side.

Can it be hung in a bathroom?

The wood-backed frame is not moisture-sealed, so the Stella is best suited to dry rooms (living rooms, bedrooms, hallways) rather than high-humidity bathrooms where the wood backing may warp over time.

How is the mirror cleaned?

Use a standard glass cleaner on the central mirror surface and faceted panels. Spray onto a microfibre cloth rather than directly onto the glass to avoid liquid running behind the frame panels.
