Description

Squeeze is a rectangular wall mirror in partially transparent mirrored and printed glass, 150cm high by 93cm wide and 2.5cm deep. The glass is printed as well as mirrored, and it is only partially reflective, so parts of the wall behind read through the face. It is the heaviest of the printed glass pieces in the range at 18KG, which is a fair indication of how much glass is in it. The printed forms sit within a rectangular outline rather than breaking it.

It suits a living room, a hallway, or a bedroom wall where a single large piece is wanted instead of a group of smaller ones. It hangs in four orientations, so it can be fitted upright or on its side to suit the space. It is rated bathroom proof, and at 18KG it is firmly a two-person lift onto fixings that should go into something solid. Two screws with washers and wall plugs are supplied and nothing needs assembling first.

The face is partially transparent mirrored and printed glass throughout, made in Europe to a design by Paul Cocksedge, and we cover it for seven years. It can be made to order from 25 pieces where a different size is wanted. Set against a plain mirror it shows what the partially transparent glass is actually for, which is depth rather than reflection, and it is the piece in the range that makes that clearest. At 93cm wide by 150cm high it is close to a two-to-three proportion, so it reads as a panel rather than as a tall narrow slot.
