Description

The Solis is a 25W LED track spotlight with an integrated LED module casting 4000K neutral white light through a variable beam angle optic that adjusts between 20° and 55°. The body is a white-painted extruded aluminium cylinder measuring 173mm in height and 72mm in diameter, fitted with a three-phase track adapter at the top for mounting to three-circuit track systems.

Designed for commercial and gallery installation where accent lighting needs to be repositioned without re-wiring, the Solis clips onto three-phase track and rotates through 355° horizontally and tilts approximately 90° vertically once locked in place. The variable beam angle allows the same fitting to provide narrow 20° spot lighting for focused accent work or wide 55° flood lighting to cover larger display areas or work surfaces. The 4000K colour temperature sits between warm and cool white, giving neutral colour rendering suited to retail displays, gallery art, and office task zones where accurate colour perception matters.

The extruded aluminium body acts as a passive heatsink for the 25W LED module, keeping the fitting cool during extended operation without requiring forced ventilation. The white painted finish provides a neutral backdrop that recedes visually against white ceilings and blends cleanly with minimalist, contemporary and modern commercial interiors. The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry indoor environments only — it is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor use or any location where moisture or dust ingress is expected.

Is the Solis dimmable?

No. The integrated LED module is rated at 25W constant output and does not support dimming. If dimming control is needed, consider a different model in the Ideal Lux track range or use an alternative fitting on a dimmable track circuit.

What is a three-phase track system?

A three-phase track contains three separate electrical circuits running through the same rail, allowing multiple groups of spotlights to be independently switched or controlled. The Solis clips onto this track and can be assigned to any of the three circuits depending on where the adapter is rotated during installation. Standard single-circuit track is not compatible.

How is the beam angle adjusted?

The optic inside the Solis allows the beam to be varied between 20° spot and 55° flood by rotating an internal ring mechanism. This adjustment is made manually after installation and stays in position once set, so the same fitting can be reconfigured as lighting needs change without replacing the entire spotlight.

Can it be used in a bathroom or outdoor canopy?

No. The IP20 rating means the Solis is designed for dry indoor locations only and offers no protection against moisture or dust ingress. It is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor use, or any location where condensation or splashing may occur.
