Description

The Solis is a 15W LED track spotlight for three-phase track systems, built around an extruded aluminium cylinder finished in matt black. The integrated LED casts 4000K neutral white light through symmetrical optics with a variable beam angle adjustable between 20° and 55°, allowing the same fitting to deliver either focused accent light or broader area coverage depending on the internal lens setting.

Designed for commercial installation on three-phase track rails, the spotlight clips onto the track via the square adapter head visible in the image, allowing the fitting to be moved along the track run and rotated through 350° horizontally and tilted vertically without tools. This makes it suited to retail displays, gallery walls, office task zones and hospitality spaces where lighting positions need to adapt as layouts change. The 170mm projection from the track gives clearance for directing light at walls or products without the fitting itself entering the sight line.

The 4000K colour temperature sits between warm white and cool white, giving neutral illumination that renders colours accurately without the yellow cast of 3000K or the blue tint of 5000K and above. The black cylinder measures 62mm diameter by 170mm total height from track to beam aperture, giving a compact profile that works on standard ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments — not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens with steam exposure, or outdoor canopies.

What is three-phase track and is it compatible with standard track?

Three-phase track systems use three separate electrical circuits within the track rail, allowing multiple fittings to be switched or dimmed in groups. This Solis spotlight requires a three-phase track system and will not fit single-circuit or two-circuit track rails without an adapter (sold separately). Confirm your existing track type before ordering.

Can the beam angle be adjusted after installation?

The beam angle range of 20° to 55° is set via the internal lens configuration. Adjusting the beam typically requires removing the front lens bezel and repositioning the optics — this is a one-time setting rather than a daily adjustment. The fitting itself can be rotated and tilted freely on the track.

Is this spotlight dimmable?

No. The integrated LED driver does not support dimming. If dimming is required, consider the dimmable variant in the Solis range or pair with a compatible dimmable driver and control system specified for three-phase track.

What colour temperature is 4000K suitable for?

4000K is neutral white, sitting between the warmer tones used in residential settings and the cooler tones of clinical or industrial spaces. It suits offices, retail environments, galleries and commercial areas where accurate colour rendering is needed without a pronounced warm or cool bias.
