Description

The Solid WS 220 is a tube LED wall light that runs 220cm along the wall in one clean, slim line. The round profile is 4.5cm across. One end fixes to the wall on a round plate 10.5cm across and only 0.5cm deep, and the other is carried by a ring on a fine cable, with a maximum cable length of 350cm. The light source is an integrated LED of 35W giving 5110lm at a warm 2700K, so there is no bulb to buy or change, and a CRI of 90 keeps wood, fabric and skin tones looking true. We offer it in Black, Brass, White or Aluminium.

At 220cm long and 5110lm, it is a generous light for a long wall. We like it in a living room along the sofa wall, in a dining room above a sideboard, and in a bedroom along the wall over a wide bed. Because it dims, it moves easily from full light for reading or a meal to a low glow for later in the evening. The choice of Black, Brass, White or Aluminium lets it sit quietly on a pale wall or stand out as a bold line. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only.

Josep Lluís Xuclà designed the Solid WS 220 around a single round tube, with the integrated LED running along its underside and the round wall plate finishing one end. It runs on 230V mains and is a Class I fitting, wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. It dims by DALI or push, so it can be run from a DALI control system or from a compatible push switch; tell your electrician which you plan to use before the work is booked. Before you order, measure your wall and make sure it has a clear run of 220cm where you want the light to sit. Our photographs show the black version.
