Description

The Solid SH Sens is a cylinder pendant light from our Solid range: a long, slim tube that hangs level on two fine wires, with its light running in a single line along the underside. At just 4.5cm across, it reads as one clean stroke beneath the ceiling rather than a bulky shade, and it can hang at a drop of up to 350cm. We offer it in three finishes, Black, White or Brass, so you can choose the one that sits best with your room: Black against a pale ceiling, White to blend into a white ceiling, or Brass alongside warm wood and soft colours.

This is a pendant for the dining room and the living room. Hung over a dining table, its long, straight shape follows the line of the table and puts the light along its length, where people sit and eat. In a living room it suits a spot above a sideboard or a long low table, or works as a single line of light across an open-plan space. The long drop means it sits as comfortably under a tall ceiling as under a standard one. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, and it is made for indoor use.

The design is by Josep Lluís Xuclà, who kept the form to a plain, slim cylinder. It is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician, and it works at 48V DC. It is a Class I fitting, and as a mains fitting it is for a qualified electrician to install, so it is worth settling on your finish and the height you want it to hang before the visit.
