Description

The Solid SH is a cylinder pendant light: a long, slim tube that hangs level from a fine wire at each end, with a ring at either end holding it in place. The profile is just 4.5cm across, so it reads as a single clean line drawn across the room, and a soft band of light runs along its underside to fall on the table or floor beneath. We offer it in three finishes, Black, White or Brass, so you can choose a quiet line that disappears against a pale ceiling, a darker one that stands out, or a warm metallic glow. It is dimmable, by DALI or by push, which lets it sit on a compatible DALI control or a push dimming switch.

Its long, level shape makes it a natural fit above a dining table, where a single pendant can run along the table and light everyone seated beside it. It suits a living room just as well, hung over a long sideboard or a desk. The drop reaches up to 350cm, which gives you room to set the height you want under a tall ceiling as well as a standard one. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only.

The Solid SH is the work of designer Josep Lluís Xuclà, and it keeps everything pared back: a plain cylinder, a fine suspension and nothing added for show. It runs on 230V mains power, is a Class I fitting, and is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. Before you order, measure from your ceiling down to where you would like the tube to hang, and check that the distance falls within the 350cm maximum drop; then pick your finish, in Black, White or Brass.
