Description

The Solid SH 100 is a slim tube LED pendant light that hangs level on two fine wires, giving one clean line of light through the room. Its light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 16.5W and gives 2397lm of warm 2700K light with a CRI of 90, which keeps wood, food and skin tones looking natural. The tube is 4.5cm across and hangs with a drop of up to 350cm, leaving plenty of room for a high ceiling. We offer it in Black, Brass, White or Aluminium.

Its long, level form is made for a dining table, putting light along the table without shades getting in the way of the view across. It works just as well in a living room, hung over a sideboard or a long low table. The Brass version brings warmth to oak and natural timber, Black gives a crisp line against pale walls, White sits quietly against a light ceiling and Aluminium suits grey and cooler schemes. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only. It is not dimmable, so it pairs with a standard switch rather than a dimmer.

The Solid SH 100 was designed by Josep Lluís Xuclà, and it keeps to one simple idea: a single tube with the light built into it, hung horizontally. It runs on mains power and is wired in by an electrician. It is a Class I fitting, which means it is earthed. Before your electrician arrives, decide how low you want the tube to hang over your table or seating, bearing in mind the drop runs up to 350cm, and choose the finish that suits your room.
