Description
The Solenne Small Halo is a 200mm wall light built around a softly domed disc of natural Spanish alabaster, mounted on a circular brushed brass backplate cut from solid copper. An integrated 6W 3000K LED sits behind the stone and lights the alabaster from within, turning the disc itself into the diffuser. Total projection from the wall is 80mm, and the brass plate reads as a thin halo behind the stone.
Designed for hallways, bedrooms, ensuites and stairwell walls, the compact size suits paired and symmetrical arrangements either side of a bed, mirror or doorway, as well as runs of three or more along a corridor. The shallow 80mm projection keeps the fitting close to the wall in narrower spaces where deeper sconces would intrude. Hard-wired to 230V mains, the Solenne replaces an existing wall light on standard UK back boxes.
Each alabaster disc is cut from a different section of stone, so the veining, ivory tones and pale amber drift vary between pieces and only become fully visible when the light is on. The solid copper backplate gives the fitting weight and rigidity behind the stone, and the brushed brass finish on the plate sits warmer than polished brass, pairing comfortably with both classical and contemporary interiors. The clean circular silhouette keeps the visual focus on the material rather than the form.

Frequently Asked
Does the alabaster vary between pieces?
Yes. Each disc is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, ivory tones and amber drift differ between individual pieces. The pattern is only fully revealed once the LED is switched on and lights the stone from behind.
Is it suitable for bathrooms?
The Solenne is not supplied with a bathroom IP rating, so it should not be installed within bathroom zones 0, 1 or 2. It can be used in bedrooms, hallways, living rooms, dressing rooms and other dry interior locations.
How does it mount to the wall?
The light is hard-wired to 230V mains and fixes through the brushed brass backplate. It can replace an existing wall light on standard UK back boxes. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners, and do not soak the stone with water.
