Description

The Solenne is a slim cylindrical pendant light measuring 600mm tall and just 100mm in diameter, formed from stainless steel finished in brushed brass and suspended on a fine cable from a compact round brass canopy. A band of natural Spanish alabaster wraps the lower section of the cylinder, housing an integrated LED that emits warm 3000K light through the translucent stone.

The narrow profile and vertical form suit dining tables, kitchen islands, hallways and stairwells where a slender drop is wanted instead of a wider shade. Hung individually, the Solenne works above a bedside or reading corner; in clusters or rows of three to five at staggered drops, it suits longer islands and dining tables. The fine suspension cable can be shortened on installation to set the pendant at the right height for the space.

The brushed brass finish gives a warm, low-sheen metallic tone that pairs comfortably with both warm timber and cooler stone interiors. The alabaster band is cut from natural stone, so each piece carries different clouding, veining and tonal variation visible when the LED is lit. This natural variation gives the otherwise disciplined cylindrical form a tactile quality and means no two Solenne pendants look identical when illuminated.

The integrated LED runs at 3000K, a warm white that brings out the natural cream and translucent qualities of the alabaster band. It is well suited to dining, lounge and bedroom settings where a softer, less clinical light is wanted.

Can I cluster multiple Solenne pendants together?

Yes. The 100mm diameter and 600mm length make the Solenne well suited to clustering at staggered drops over an island or dining table. Each pendant uses its own canopy and cable, so spacing and drop heights can be planned to suit the room.

Does the alabaster vary between pendants?

Yes. The alabaster band is cut from natural Spanish stone, so the clouding, veining and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural material and is most visible when the LED is illuminated.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners.
